Public Procurement Service Announces Bids for 54 Construction Projects Including 'Gimhae Sports Complex Construction' Status Data on Regional Restrictions and Mandatory Joint Contracting by Region. Provided by the Public Procurement Service


[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 22nd that it will conduct construction bids worth approximately 220 billion KRW for 54 projects, including the demand from Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, for the "Gimhae Sports Complex Construction Project," over five days starting from the 23rd.


Among these, 43 projects (80% of the total), including the demand from Seosan City, Chungnam, for the "Naepo-Haemi World Youth Culture Center Construction," will be bid as region-restricted bids or projects requiring mandatory joint contracts with local companies.


Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that local companies will secure contracts worth approximately 126.5 billion KRW (58% of the total).


By region, Gyeongnam has the highest order volume at 136.6 billion KRW, followed by Gwangju with 24.3 billion KRW, and Chungnam with 14.3 billion KRW. Other regions will have a total order volume of 44.8 billion KRW.


The Public Procurement Service will conduct a lump-sum bid for one project, the Gimhae Sports Complex Construction Project (worth approximately 128.9 billion KRW), while other projects will be bid through qualification screening (90.6 billion KRW) and negotiated contracts (0.5 billion KRW), respectively.
