On the 13th, Gaon Appraisal Corporation announced on the 20th that appraiser Kim Dong-gak was appointed as the 8th CEO of Gaon Appraisal Corporation at the regular shareholders' meeting.
Gaon Appraisal Corporation, designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as a major appraisal corporation, celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. Currently, about 400 employees are active across 15 headquarters and branches nationwide.
CEO Kim Dong-gak graduated from the College of Engineering at Seoul National University and earned a master's degree in Real Estate from Hansung University. He has also been actively involved as a member of the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee of the Korea Association of Property Appraisers, a member of the Seocho-gu Urban Planning Committee, and served as the corporation's financial director.
At the regular shareholders' meeting, along with CEO Kim Dong-gak, appraisers Kim Hyun-beom (General Affairs), Lim Se-hwan (Planning), and Cho Sung-in (Finance) were appointed as executive directors, forming a new executive structure. This has drawn attention to the future direction of Gaon Appraisal Corporation.
Meanwhile, the terms of the new CEO and executive directors will begin on March 23 and last for two years.
