Muan-gun Prosperity Association Donates 5 Million Won to Overcome COVID-19 Crisis

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Muan-gun Prosperity Association (President Park Mun-jae) announced on the 19th that it donated 5 million won to Muan-gun to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.

At the donation ceremony attended by President Park Mun-jae, Vice President Park Jang-bae, Secretary General Won Gil-nam, and the heads of prosperity associations from 9 towns and townships, they stated, "We hope this donation will provide some support to the underprivileged who are struggling due to COVID-19."

County Governor Kim San said, "We will do our best to prevent COVID-19 through thorough quarantine and hygiene management," and added, "We appreciate the warm interest from various social organizations, including the county prosperity association that donated this time."

The Muan-gun Prosperity Association is promoting various activities for regional stability and citizen unity, such as opposing the relocation of the Gwangju Combat Airfield, and is also leading donation and volunteer activities for the local community.
