From the 20th, Seoul Arts Center to Stream 7 'Ssak On Screen' Films on YouTube
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Seoul Arts Center announced on the 18th that it will stream 'SAC On Screen' on YouTube starting from the 20th to provide cultural and artistic experiences to the public who have lost opportunities due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
'SAC On Screen' is a high-definition video project of performing arts initiated by the Seoul Arts Center in 2013, the first among domestic performance venues. It produces videos that allow audiences to enjoy excellent performances on the Seoul Arts Center stage in high-definition and high-quality sound, like a movie.
Although 'SAC On Screen' has previously been screened at small local cultural facilities or cinemas, this is the first time it will be broadcast through an online platform. The Seoul Arts Center explained, "As COVID-19 spread and it became difficult for people to watch performances, we planned the 'SAC On Screen' YouTube streaming so that the public can enjoy performance video content anytime and anywhere without time and space restrictions via mobile phones, tablets, and other devices."
Through this 'SAC On Screen' YouTube streaming, the Seoul Arts Center will present seven works, including the play 'Pericles,' the 'Baek Geon-woo Piano Recital,' and the Universal Ballet Company's original ballet 'Simcheong.'
The videos will be streamed on the Seoul Arts Center YouTube channel 'Seoul Arts Center' from the 20th to the 27th on weekdays at 3 PM and 8 PM, and on Saturdays at 1 PM and 3 PM.
