[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] On KBS2's 'Dogs Are Incredible,' actress Lee Yoo-bi shed tears while watching the training of a guide dog for the visually impaired.
In the episode aired on the 16th of 'Dogs Are Incredible' (Gae-neun Hullyunghada), Kang Hyung-wook, Lee Kyung-kyu, Ji Sang-ryeol, and Lee Yoo-bi visited a guide dog school for the visually impaired.
In the broadcast, Lee Kyung-kyu experienced the guide dog training with the guide dog Hoya. When an obstacle appeared, Hoya waited for Lee Kyung-kyu even though he could have passed, and Lee Yoo-bi, who was watching this, burst into tears.
Lee Yoo-bi said, "Watching the experience, I felt so proud. It was my first time seeing a guide dog, and seeing how they help those people so diligently was truly moving. I felt grateful."
Then, Lee Kyung-kyu and Lee Yoo-bi went to where a group of young retrievers were gathered. Lee Kyung-kyu said, "When you walk down the street, there are guys lying down like me," and lay down next to the retriever group, and Lee Yoo-bi followed suit.
Lee Yoo-bi smiled brightly, saying, "(Being surrounded by the puppies) makes me happy."
Afterward, when trainer Park Tae-jin from the guide dog school explained the volunteer requirements for the general public at the guide dog school, she actively asked questions and showed enthusiasm.
Lee Yoo-bi asked, "Is it possible for someone who has never raised a dog to volunteer?" Trainer Park replied, "We prefer that. People who have learned only a little tend to be stubborn."
