Woongjin ThinkBig Reports 90% Increase in 'Digital Content' Learning Time Amid COVID-19

Woongjin ThinkBig Reports 90% Increase in 'Digital Content' Learning Time Amid COVID-19

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 16th that digital content learning time has increased by 90% as 'home study' has increased due to the delay of school opening.

Analyzing data from 460,000 members of 'Woongjin SmartAll' and 'Woongjin Book Club,' it was found that learning time for non-face-to-face services last week increased by about 90% compared to the second week of February before the school opening delay.

It is analyzed that the usage time of smart home learning using artificial intelligence (AI) surged due to parents' anxiety about their children not attending school classes. The usage of reading and video content on Woongjin Book Club also increased by about 30% compared to before the school opening delay.

Woongjin ThinkBig, judging that the burden on parents is increasing due to the school opening delay, has launched the 'SmartAll TV' YouTube channel since last week to provide free learning content for all subjects at no cost.

In addition, Woongjin ThinkBig members can use Woongjin Book Club's 'Saenggak Library' reading content for free. Free trials of Woongjin SmartAll, ThinkBig Together, and others are also being conducted.

A Woongjin ThinkBig official said, "We are trying to reduce the concerns of many parents and students as the school opening is delayed due to the spread of COVID-19," and added, "We plan to support various learning, reading, and play content until the school opening so that learning can continue at home."
