[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Technology Innovation Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (Inno-Biz Association) is launching an emergency fundraising campaign to support member companies in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.

According to the Inno-Biz Association on the 15th, this emergency fundraising was organized to provide supplies to member companies in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas, which have been severely affected by the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions were designated as special infectious disease control zones by the government due to the sharp increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases and significant damage, making the supply of hygiene products and medical supplies urgently needed.

The association recently held an emergency steering committee meeting to respond to COVID-19 and launched this emergency fundraising campaign as part of the Inno-Biz Hope Sharing activities.

The emergency fundraising period lasts until the 17th. For more details, please refer to the notices on the association’s website.
