On the afternoon of the 14th, TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot' announced the final competition results. The 1st place Jin was Lim Young-woong with 3,890 points, 2nd place Seon was Young Tak with 3,525.30 points, and 3rd place Mi was Lee Chan-won with 3,452.08 points. Following them, 4th place went to Kim Ho-joong (3,244.15 points), 5th to Jung Dong-won (3,215.25 points), 6th to Jang Min-ho (3,107.40 points), and 7th to Kim Hee-jae (2,761.64 points).

Originally, the Mr. Trot Jin-Seon-Mi results were scheduled to be announced during the 11th episode of 'Mr. Trot' aired on the 12th. However, due to an unprecedented 7,731,781 calls flooding the real-time national text voting simultaneously, the server speed drastically slowed down during the vote tallying process for the seven finalists, resulting in a major failure to announce the results.

However, the situation was quickly managed, and contrary to expectations that the announcement would be made a week later, the final results were revealed through a special broadcast on the afternoon of the 14th, just two days later.

Before the broadcast that day, the interim tally (Master panel total score + national support votes) showed Lee Chan-won in 1st place, followed by Lim Young-woong and Young Tak in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Ultimately, when the real-time text votes were added, Lim Young-woong clinched the top spot as Jin.

Lim Young-woong, who became the first-ever Mr. Trot Jin, said, "Thank you to all the viewers who have watched for a long time. I also want to sincerely thank the masters who gave me advice. I am very grateful to my mother who gave birth to me and my grandmother," and continued, "Actually, the day of the live final was my father's anniversary. I feel sorry for leaving my mother alone, but I will think of this as a gift," receiving warm applause.

When asked by Kim Sung-joo how he would use the 100 million won prize money and 200 pairs of handmade shoes he received, Lim Young-woong replied wittily, "I will share them with all the former Mr. Trot contestants, and I will keep just one pair for myself after thinking it over."

Young Tak, who said he had not yet performed a deep bow, made a big bow before sharing his thoughts. He said, "First of all, my parents are here, and I am very grateful to them for raising me well. I think this is the first time I have received such a big award while doing music, and I will continue to live well. I thank all the masters and the production team who supported me. I will also become a good singer who shares good energy."

Lastly, Lee Chan-won said, "Two days ago during the live broadcast, I understood why senior Kim Sung-joo is called the master MC.
