[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] Along with the soaring popularity of JTBC's 'Itaewon Class,' interest in the so-called 'Park Saeroi Hair' is also heating up.

'Itaewon Class' is a drama based on the webtoon by Gwangjin, telling the story of Park Saeroi, who runs a pojangmacha called 'Danbam' and aims to make it the top food company in Korea to avenge his father. Currently, Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, and Yoo Jae-myung are starring in the drama.

Park Seo-joon, who plays the main character Park Saeroi, showcases charm by faithfully recreating the character from the original work with his short haircut, making the 'Park Saeroi Hair' popular.

His hairstyle is a 'two-block' cut, characterized by short hair on both the top and bottom, and is also called 'bamtol hair' (chestnut hair) by viewers.

Accordingly, hashtags such as '#ParkSaeroiHair', '#BamtolHair', or '#ParkSeojoonHair' are trending on social media.

Meanwhile, 'Itaewon Class' airs every Friday and Saturday around 10 PM. It recorded a peak viewership rating of 14.8% and continues to hold the number one spot in its time slot.
