"When I See the Rainbow in the Wide Sky, My Heart Dances" is a work that talks about the pains within our society. Since its premiere in 2018 and its revival in 2019, it has been recognized for both artistic quality and popularity. Through the stories of characters hiding issues such as school bullying and caregiving problems?issues society fails to confront properly?it faces these problems head-on, delicately and calmly weaving subtle emotions and humor. Like a rainbow appearing in the clear sky after the rain, it soothes wounds and delivers a warm message that there is hope even in painful realities.
