On the 12th, according to Gangnam-gu, A (28, female), who lives in Jagok-dong, visited Sinsa-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, where Lee, a confirmed case related to the Guro-gu call center cluster outbreak, resides, and stayed overnight before returning home on the 7th of this month.
A tested negative in the first specimen test conducted on the 9th of this month. Afterwards, while self-quarantining at home, she developed a high fever starting the day before and was retested, receiving a positive confirmation on the 12th.
A was isolated and admitted to Seoul Metropolitan Seonam Hospital in Gangseo-gu. Gangnam-gu plans to conduct specimen tests on about 300 residents in A’s neighborhood.
Meanwhile, A, who works as a teacher at an affiliated kindergarten in Gangnam-gu, reportedly did not attend the kindergarten after meeting Lee, the confirmed case, on the 7th.
