Reducing Costs by 90% Compared to Paper Contracts and Enhancing Security
"Providing a Solution That Enables Easy Customer Discovery to Contract Completion"
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] BusinessOn, an electronic document distribution system company, has partnered with SalesInsight, a customer relationship management (CRM) solution specialist. It is expected that blockchain electronic contract services and CRM solutions will be actively integrated.
BusinessOn Communication announced on the 11th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SalesInsight on this matter.
Accordingly, BusinessOn plans to link its blockchain-based electronic contract service "Smart e-Contract" with SalesInsight's sales management CRM solution "SalesPoint" to develop a business that builds either a Software as a Service (SaaS) model or an on-premises system.
Smart e-Contract is the first blockchain-based electronic contract service developed by BusinessOn. It guarantees the same legal effect as paper contracts through blockchain signatures. It eliminates the hassle of requiring a public certificate and removes renewal and issuance costs. Contract-related expenses such as face-to-face meetings, stamping, and storage between contracting companies, as well as costs for paper, printing, copying, and registered mail, are also eliminated, resulting in approximately 90% cost savings compared to paper contracts. Additionally, blockchain technology enables verification of tampering, ensuring security. It has already been introduced in various industries including Lotte BP Chemical, information technology (IT), distribution, and manufacturing.
SalesInsight is a sales management and CRM solution company with clients across various industries. Through collaboration with BusinessOn, it plans to provide a solution that handles everything from discovering new customers to contract completion in one go.
A BusinessOn representative stated, "This agreement will demonstrate that electronic contract solutions can be effectively utilized in sales and CRM fields," adding, "In the future, blockchain electronic contracts will become more competitive through integration with various solutions."
