On the 11th, Doti, a kids creator, appeared as a guest on the 'Open Wednesday' segment of MBC Standard FM's 'Women's Era with Yang Hee-eun and Seo Kyung-seok.'
That day, Doti said, "I'm thirty-five this year, the right age for marriage." In response, MC Yang Hee-eun expressed surprise, saying, "I thought you were 25."
Doti stated, "I started YouTube at 28. Until then, I was an ordinary college student preparing for employment," adding, "I wanted to become a broadcasting PD, so I was preparing for a job, but I thought having a YouTube channel would be a good credential, so I started it."
He continued, "As I did it, I found it fun and the timing was right. I think I was lucky," and added, "When I actually did it, handling planning and directing, I realized it wasn't much different from what a PD does."
Regarding the nickname 'Chodongtong' (elementary school president), Doti explained, "I didn't intentionally target that audience," and said, "As a few people who liked the content gathered, elementary school students mainly liked it, so the nickname was attached."
Responding to being called a 'rival of Pengsoo,' he humbly said, "Pengsoo's talent is overwhelming, so I can't dare call myself a rival," and added, "He quickly grew from 200,000 to 2 million followers. These days, I just do Pengsoo impressions."
Recently, Doti has been appearing on various TV programs, increasing his public recognition. About this, Doti said, "I never thought about becoming a broadcaster. As invitations came, appearing on terrestrial TV became fun, and it's still amazing to see celebrities."
