Hanwha Life Conducts Special Online Training for Agents Amid COVID-19

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hanwha Life announced on the 9th that it will conduct special online training for financial planners (FPs) to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

This measure was taken because the Life Park Training Center, a group training facility, has been provided as a COVID-19 treatment center since the 5th, resulting in the suspension of on-site training.

The special online course, held until the 25th on Hanwha Life's customized online education platform Life Plus Academy and mobile application, consists of 8 sessions with a total of 32 courses. Any FP affiliated with Hanwha Life can take the courses voluntarily.

The special course content includes iOS 13 and tablet PC utilization, individual and corporate business consulting, asset transfer consulting, variable insurance, sales skills, and practical marketing.

Since the COVID-19 crisis level was raised to 'serious,' Hanwha Life has canceled group events and in-person training to prevent infection and has also prohibited unnecessary gatherings such as company dinners.

Byun Jun-gyun, head of the Hanwha Life Life Park Training Team, said, "Once the COVID-19 situation settles, we plan to resume offline training normally. We will actively support FPs working hard on the field with excellent content from Life Plus Academy so that the gap caused by the suspension of on-site group training is not felt at all."
