About 50 people, including Chairman Song Gap-seok, metropolitan council members, core party members, and party officials, participated in this volunteer activity held around the Gwangju Express Bus Terminal plaza.
The participants wore personal protective equipment and used disinfecting devices and sprayers to disinfect areas of multi-use facilities, listened to citizens' policy suggestions, and promoted the government's quarantine measures.
Chairman Song Gap-seok of the city party said, "We conducted quarantine volunteer activities around the Gwangju Express Bus Terminal, where multi-use facilities and public transportation facilities are concentrated, to prevent the spread of COVID-19," and added, "The Democratic Party of Korea Gwangju Metropolitan City Party will continuously cooperate with Gwangju Metropolitan City and autonomous districts so that the public can use public transportation and multi-use facilities with peace of mind."
He continued, "Until the COVID-19 situation is resolved, the Democratic Party of Korea Gwangju Metropolitan City Party will mobilize all its capabilities to engage in quarantine activities."
