Additional Distribution to Special Occupation Workers such as Post Office Delivery Workers and Taxi Drivers

In addition, masks and hand sanitizers will be additionally provided to special occupation workers such as post office delivery workers and taxi drivers who come into contact with many residents in the area. Gijang-gun has urgently secured 50,000 pediatric masks for infants and children who are being raised at home or who have addresses in Gijang-gun but are attending daycare centers or kindergartens in other regions due to circumstances, and has been distributing them from March 2nd at the welfare teams of the eup/myeon offices (eup/myeon administrative welfare centers). Dual-income families who cannot use the eup/myeon offices on weekdays can receive them at the eup/myeon offices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
Meanwhile, Gijang-gun identified a situation where one production line had to be stopped due to a shortage of manpower at a mask factory in the area, and in cooperation with the Volunteer Center, supported 2 volunteers on the 7th and 4 volunteers on the 8th.
