Korea Startup Promotion Agency Recruits Over 900 Students for 1st Practical Startup Training Program

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (President Kim Kwang-hyun) announced on the 6th that it is recruiting about 900 students for the 1st Practical Startup Education program, which supports prospective entrepreneurs preparing for startups in establishing business models, producing minimum viable products, and market validation.


The Practical Startup Education program has been newly operated since 2019 to increase the success potential of prospective entrepreneurs with innovative technology startup ideas by providing step-by-step education and mentoring. Recruitment for the 1st Practical Startup Education students in 2020 is open until April 3rd, and detailed information regarding application can be found on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups or K-Startup websites.


Kim Kwang-hyun, President of the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, said, "The Practical Startup Education program supports education and mentoring for prospective entrepreneurs, and we hope it will be helpful to many. We will continue to strive to improve the quality of the education program and the convenience for students."
