Application Fee Refund and Exam Postponement Requests Available
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Due to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the official English proficiency test, TOEIC, has been consecutively canceled.
The Korea TOEIC Committee announced on the 6th that the 399th regular TOEIC test, scheduled to be held nationwide on the 15th, has been canceled. This is the second test cancellation following the one on the 29th of last month. Test takers who canceled their registration will be allowed to postpone the test or receive a refund of the test fee.
The committee explained, "Since the COVID-19 crisis alert level remains at 'Severe,' we have inevitably decided to cancel the test to prevent the spread of community infection and to ensure the safety of the public and test takers." They added, "We will decide whether to hold the next test on March 29 after monitoring the situation."
