[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] At Bundang Jesaeng Hospital in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, 8 people including medical staff and patients tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), leading the hospital to suspend medical services.
According to Seongnam City on the 6th, a total of 8 people, including 2 nurses, 3 nursing assistants, and 3 patients at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, tested positive in COVID-19 diagnostic tests. The hospital suspended outpatient services and emergency room operations from 12:30 AM that day.
Seongnam City stated that 4 of the confirmed cases are residents of the city. It added that emergency quarantine measures were completed focusing on the movement routes of the confirmed cases.
