Overcoming COVID-19 Together... ‘TS Shampoo’ Launches Free Distribution of 100,000 Masks

Overcoming COVID-19 Together... ‘TS Shampoo’ Launches Free Distribution of 100,000 Masks

TS Trillion (CEO Jang Gi-young), the manufacturer and seller of 'TS Shampoo,' announced that it will change its planned event of distributing 100,000 free masks at its headquarters store, prepared for local residents and customers, to donating all masks instead.

The event was originally scheduled to take place on the 6th (Friday) at the TS headquarters in Yangpyeong-dong, distributing masks for free until supplies ran out amid the recent mask shortage caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). However, after consulting with related organizations and event-related authorities, they recognized many considerations such as traffic congestion and customer safety, leading to the cancellation of the event. Instead, to deliver masks more safely and directly to those in need, they plan to donate 30,000 masks to the Yeongdeungpo District Office, the competent authority.

As originally planned, the company will continue to distribute a total of 70,000 masks, providing 5 masks per person starting next week to members of the hair loss community site 'Talmo.com,' which it operates.

Since its establishment, TS Trillion has donated to over 20 domestic organizations for more than 10 years and has engaged in various social contribution activities such as scholarship support and product donations. Recently, it delivered a special donation of 100 million KRW to the Red Cross for Wuhan, China, a region affected by COVID-19. Additionally, it has supported medical expenses for foreign workers and sponsored unregistered Chinese children until they become independent.

Jang Gi-young, CEO of TS Trillion, explained the background, saying, “Since launching TS Shampoo in the market, many consumers have purchased and loved it. To give back even a little to the customers who love TS Shampoo, we planned to distribute masks for free. This event was also designed to stabilize mask prices and ensure smooth supply.” He added, “We believe that returning the love received from society back to society is the corporate social responsibility. TS will overcome the current situation together with the many customers who love TS and will continue to participate steadily in social donation activities. We sincerely hope that the COVID-19 situation will calm down soon so that everyone can feel safe and return to normal life.”
