Mr. A, who has family in Yeosu, attended university in Daegu and is reported to have come home for vacation.
This man was classified as an attendee of the Shincheonji Daegu church service on the 16th and was notified of self-quarantine on the 24th.
After attending the Shincheonji Daegu church service, Mr. A came to Yeosu, where his family lives, on the 17th and lived with five people including his grandmother, parents, older brother, and younger sibling.
The Dong-gu Public Health Center in Daegu notified Mr. A of self-quarantine on the 24th and informed him on the afternoon of the 27th that a diagnostic test was necessary.
Health authorities have placed this man's family under self-quarantine and are conducting diagnostic tests, while also tracing his movements.
A Jeonnam Province official said, "It appears that the self-quarantine guidelines were violated," adding, "We are identifying the exact movement routes and whether there was infection among family members, and are conducting disinfection centered around his residence."
