3 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Cheonan and 2 in Asan (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] On the 29th, five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cheonan and Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.

Three cases were in Cheonan and two in Asan, all women aged between 30 and 60. The total confirmed cases increased to 39 in Cheonan and 6 in Asan.

All five additional confirmed cases were tested at the Cheonan Seobuk-gu Public Health Center and were diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 28th while under self-quarantine.

The epidemiological investigation team is identifying the movement paths and contacts of the confirmed cases. The visited businesses and facilities will be immediately closed and disinfected.
