[Today’s Weather] Cloudy Nationwide, Gradually Clearing... Warm Weather

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] On Saturday the 29th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy, gradually clearing up from midday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the area will move out of the influence of a low-pressure trough and be affected by high pressure located in northern China, leading to gradually clearer skies from the afternoon.

Expected precipitation amounts are 10-30mm for Jeju Island, 5-10mm for Chungcheong, Jeolla, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, Seoul, Gyeonggi, and the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and less than 5mm for the east coast of Gangwon, Gyeongsang (excluding the southern coast of Gyeongnam), the five western islands, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

Morning low temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 4°C △Daejeon 2°C △Daegu 2°C △Busan 6°C △Jeonju 3°C △Gwangju 5°C △Chuncheon 2°C △Gangneung 5°C △Jeju 12°C.

Daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be △Seoul 12°C △Daejeon 14°C △Daegu 14°C △Busan 15°C △Jeonju 14°C △Gwangju 16°C △Chuncheon 13°C △Gangneung 11°C △Jeju 13°C.

According to the National Institute of Environmental Research, fine dust levels will range from 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Fog with visibility less than 1 km may occur mainly inland, so please pay special attention to traffic safety."
