According to Daegu city on that day, three women in their 60s to 90s who were hospitalized at Yeungnam University Hospital or Daegu Medical Center, or whose condition worsened during self-quarantine and were transferred to Daegu Catholic University Hospital, died from COVID-19.

This brings the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 16.
