35-Year-Old Male Resident of Seonghyeon-dong, Gwanak-gu Confirmed to Have Visited Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital... Close Contacts Notified for Self-Quarantine, Thorough Disinfection Scheduled for Completion Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) reported its third confirmed case of COVID-19 on the 28th.
The third confirmed case is a 35-year-old male residing in Seonghyeon-dong, Gwanak-gu. It was confirmed that he visited Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital on the 22nd of this month using his own car, but he did not enter the hospital and stayed outside.
On that day, he was notified of his positive test result by the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center in the morning and was quarantined at home. He is scheduled to be transferred to a government-designated hospital.
The confirmed patient's movement route identified so far is as follows.
On the 25th, around 8:30 a.m., he took the subway to go to his workplace located in Gangnam-gu, and around 1:30 p.m., he visited a hair salon (Lee Hoon Nakseongdae Branch, 1936 Nambusunhwan-ro).
Afterwards, around 2:30 p.m., he had lunch at Dol Sushi (1929-16 Nambusunhwan-ro), and around 3 p.m., he took a bus to return home.
On the 27th, around 8:30 a.m., he took the subway to go to his workplace in Gangnam-gu, and between 10 a.m. and 11:40 a.m., he visited the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center and underwent specimen testing.
At around 12:10 p.m., he took a bus back to his company and then immediately took the subway to return home.
Between 8 and 9 p.m., he had dinner with his wife at Guksunamu Bongcheon Hyundai Market Branch and walked home.
On the 28th, at 8:30 a.m., he took the subway to go to his workplace in Gangnam-gu. After receiving a positive test notification from the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center, he was quarantined at home starting from 9 a.m.
After receiving the confirmed case notification from the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center on the morning of the 28th, Gwanak-gu completed self-quarantine notifications for close contacts and plans to thoroughly disinfect the confirmed patient's home, visited locations, and surrounding areas within the day.
The district office plans to promptly and accurately disclose additional information on the confirmed patient's exact infection route and movement path as soon as the epidemiological investigation results are available.
Park Jun-hee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, stated, “We will prioritize the lives and safety of our residents and make every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community. Please do not have excessive anxiety that threatens your daily life, and we ask that you follow COVID-19 behavioral guidelines such as hand washing, wearing masks at all times, and practicing proper cough etiquette.”
