[Asia Economy Reporter Shinwon Yoon] Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon criticized the political parties for blaming and attacking each other ahead of the April 15 general election amid the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), saying, "Stop blaming, criticizing, and attacking each other for a moment."

On the 27th, Hong Seok-cheon posted on his SNS, saying, "To those in politics, it is frustrating that even if you all fight, it is barely possible to overcome this situation."

Regarding church Sunday services, he said, "To those involved with churches, please take a break from services for the time being," adding, "Starting this week, please pause Sunday services even if only for a short time."

Finally, he added, "To everyone working hard on quarantine efforts, stay strong," and "To the people of Daegu and COVID-19 confirmed patients, I hope you all overcome this. To self-employed people and all citizens, let's all cheer up together."
