Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, announced on his Facebook on the 28th, "A resident who returned from a business trip to Italy has been finally confirmed positive and has been transferred to Seoul Medical Center."
The confirmed patient returned on the 24th around 4 PM through Incheon Airport after a business trip to Milan, Italy from the 19th to the 24th.
On the 25th, the patient rested at home in Neung-dong with family, then on the 26th around 10 AM waited at Kkummaji Daycare Center (Neung-dong), around 11 AM visited Gyeongwon Kindergarten (Guui 2-dong), and around 11:30 AM picked up takeout from Barda Kim Seonsaeng (Guui 2-dong) before returning home.
Also, around 5:30 PM visited Kozy Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic (Junggok 2-dong), around 5:40 PM visited Gunja Hanmaeum Pharmacy (Junggok 2-dong), and around 5:50 PM visited Neung-dong Discount Mart (Neung-dong) before returning home.
On the 27th, around 10:30 AM visited U&J Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic (Junggok 4-dong), around 10:50 AM visited Didim Onnuri Pharmacy (Junggok 4-dong), around 11 AM underwent specimen collection at Gwangjin-gu Public Health Center screening clinic and then returned home. At around 12:20 PM, self-quarantined at the paternal family home in Gangdong-gu, was confirmed positive around 10 PM, and transferred to Seoul Medical Center.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap stated, "The confirmed patient reportedly always wore a mask both indoors and outdoors, and at the hospital, the prescription was only issued outside the examination room."
Gwangjin-gu has completed disinfection of the visited locations and stated that if the movement path is revised based on epidemiological investigation, it will be updated on the website and SNS.
