Public official A, who works at a district office, is suspected of visiting a community center to obtain civil documents on the 25th while under self-quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19 following contact with an infected person.
Nurse B, who works at a private hospital, concealed the fact that she was ordered to self-quarantine by health authorities on the 19th and went to work as usual, later testing positive on the 23rd. However, it was found that B went to the hospital even the day after receiving the positive diagnosis.
A police official stated, "In the situation where the COVID-19 crisis alert level has been raised to 'serious,' acts of non-compliance with health authorities' self-quarantine orders are considered serious crimes and will be thoroughly investigated."
