Idolbomies ▲Temperature Measurement ▲Hand Sanitizer Use ▲Mask Wearing and Other Pre-Self-Checks to Ensure Health of Service-Using Families and Idolbomies Together
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Jo Eun-hee) has urgently provided portable pouches containing three types of quarantine supplies (masks, thermometers, hand sanitizers) to all 230 childcare workers so that families using the childcare service can safely entrust their children amid the spreading COVID-19.
The district has strengthened safety rules at childcare sites, requiring childcare workers to conduct self-checks such as ▲measuring body temperature ▲using hand sanitizer ▲wearing masks, and only care for children if no abnormalities are found. They are also required to wear a ‘Safety Badge’.
To this end, the district initially distributed 2,000 masks, 4,000 hand sanitizing wipes, and 300 hand sanitizers at the end of January, and on February 28, secured and additionally distributed 7,000 masks, 300 thermometers, and 300 hand sanitizers.
An official from the district stated, "We ask families using the childcare service to also comply with personal hygiene and safety rules, and to immediately stop using the service and contact the Seocho-gu Public Health Center (2155-8093) if they experience high fever or other abnormal symptoms."
Mayor Jo Eun-hee said, "There are many concerns among families with children due to COVID-19, but we will do our best to ease parents’ worries about entrusting their children and to protect the health of childcare workers as well."
