[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Kiwoom Asset Management announced on the 27th that it will sell the ‘Kiwoom Smart 4th Industrial Revolution ETF Dollar-Cost Averaging Fund’ through KakaoPay Securities.
Recently, major IT powerhouses such as the United States, Germany, South Korea, China, and Japan have been competing and investing at the national level to gain leadership. The Kiwoom Smart 4th Industrial Revolution ETF Dollar-Cost Averaging Fund selects overseas stock ETFs related to sectors expected to grow in the 4th Industrial Revolution and invests through dollar-cost averaging.
This fund invests in five sectors benefiting from the 4th Industrial Revolution theme: blockchain, cloud, e-commerce, semiconductors, and the internet. The dollar-cost averaging strategy means buying less when the market rises and buying more when the market falls. Investors can enjoy the advantage of spreading out their purchase timing, similar to investing in a savings-type fund, even if they invest a lump sum only once.
Additionally, an automatic rebalancing strategy is executed to restore the investment ratio to the initial proportion once each sector achieves a target return of 5%. Through this rebalancing strategy, the fund resets the increased risk asset ratio used to achieve the target return, reducing volatility and restarting the dollar-cost averaging strategy from the beginning.
The Kiwoom Smart 4th Industrial Revolution ETF Dollar-Cost Averaging Fund maintains exposure to promising 4th Industrial Revolution themes while primarily investing in ETFs rather than individual stocks, enhancing diversification and lowering volatility. Moreover, by applying the dollar-cost averaging strategy across five sectors instead of tracking a single index, it secures various profit opportunities and increases accessibility.
A Kiwoom Asset Management official said about this fund, “It is a fund that allows investment in the 4th Industrial Revolution theme without worrying about the timing of purchase or profit realization,” and added, “We recommend it to customers investing in overseas stock ETFs for the first time or investors interested in the 4th Industrial Revolution but find it difficult to time their investments appropriately.”
