[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Lim Young-woong took first place in the 'Mr. Trot' semifinals individual competition.

On the afternoon of the 27th, TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot' aired a segment showing semifinalist Lim Young-woong challenging the semifinal legend mission.

Lim Young-woong chose Seol Woon-do's "Borabit Yeopseo" (Purple Postcard) for his performance. He passionately sang "Borabit Yeopseo," elevating his unique emotion to deliver a touching stage.

After the performance, Seol Woon-do praised, "I learned something from Lim Young-woong. I couldn't sing with emotion. My heart was moved too. From today on, I will also sing with such heartfelt emotion."

Jang Yoon-jung expressed admiration, saying, "I have nothing to say. He has perfect skills. He is a singer who comes on stage fully prepared to convey something. When producing soft sounds, the strength usually fades, but he controls the tempo well. He did very well."

Jo Young-soo said, "I've recorded many singers, but Lim Young-woong's stage right now seems like an immediate OK," showing his amazement.

Lim Young-woong scored 962 points, defeating Young Tak who scored 952 points, and took first place.
