[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Comedian Kim Kyung-jin shared his feelings about marrying his fianc?e, model Jeon Soo-min.
On the 26th, SBS's 'Bon-gyeok Entertainment Night' aired an interview with the groom-to-be, Kim Kyung-jin.
When asked about his feelings on getting married, Kim Kyung-jin replied, "'I'm really getting married.' It finally felt real. I thought I couldn't do it, but as I went along, I realized every straw shoe has its pair."
Recalling his first meeting with Jeon Soo-min, Kim said, "I went to a birthday party just to show my face, and there was a very charming girl dancing to the music. I fell in love at first sight. I thought it would be nice to date her, so we ate together and grew our love."
When asked about the secret to winning over Soo-min, who is seven years younger, he explained, "I spoke sincerely a lot. I honestly said, 'I don't have much money saved up right now, but I will make you happy,' and I think she liked that."
Kim Kyung-jin added, "(After the formal meeting of families) my parents were very pleased. Soo-min's parents were worried about me at first, so her mother asked to see my health checkup records, saying I looked weak. So I exercised, ate well, and gained weight. Now they like me a lot."
Earlier, on the 25th, Kim Kyung-jin and Jeon Soo-min announced they would be getting married in June after dating for a year and six months.
Meanwhile, Kim Kyung-jin debuted as an MBC 16th generation comedian in 2007 and became known through shows like 'Ilbam' and 'Gagya.' He proved his popularity by winning the Male Rookie Award in the Comedy and Sitcom category at the 2009 MBC Entertainment Awards. He currently runs the YouTube channel 'Kim Kyung-jin TV.'
Jeon Soo-min debuted as a model in 2008 at the Jane Song Collection and has worked as a model at New York, London, Milan, and Berlin Fashion Weeks.
