This mask sale will take place at 11 a.m. on the same day at the Brand K section of the Happy Department Store in Mokdong, Seoul. KF94 masks will be sold with a limit of 5 per person (1 mask for 1,000 won).
The Small and Medium Business Distribution Center has been operating a COVID-19 mask supply countermeasure response team since the 2nd of this month. Currently, it has been designated as a public mask supply sales outlet in cooperation with the Korea Post. In addition to the Brand K section at the Happy Department Store, sales will be expanded to Brand K sections at four train stations (Seoul Station, Daejeon Station, Dongdaegu Station, and Gwangju Station).
Jung Jinsoo, CEO of the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, said, "Putting the safety of the people first, we plan to fully mobilize the institution's capabilities to utilize all public distribution channels both online and offline that the center possesses, to provide a one-stop solution for mask supply anxiety from procurement to consumer sales and delivery."
