Love Piggy Banks Collected with Little Hands by Daycare and Private Kindergarten Children

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received 'Love Piggy Banks' from the Daycare Center Association and the Private Kindergarten Association at the district mayor's office at 3 p.m. on the 26th.

The ceremony for delivering the 'Love Piggy Banks,' collected by the little hands of daycare and private kindergarten children, has been held every early February, but this year the related event was greatly scaled down and held with only a few attendees to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The donation of about 16 million won received that day is scheduled to be used for children suffering from rare diseases through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.

District Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "The sincerity of the children who saved money little by little will be a great help to children suffering from rare and incurable diseases," adding, "We will deliver the warm hearts of the children well."
