According to Jung Woo-sung's agency Artist Company on the same day, Jung Woo-sung donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea's Fruit of Love.
The donation will be used to prevent the spread of COVID-19, targeting children and elderly with weakened immunity, low-income families, and medical staff in need of quarantine supplies.
Meanwhile, as COVID-19 spreads nationwide, donations from celebrities such as Kim Hye-soo, Suzy, Shin Min-a, and Gong Yoo continue.
Kim Hye-soo, who is passionately playing the role of Jung Geum-ja in the SBS drama "Hyena," donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on the same day.
Gong Yoo donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea's Fruit of Love under his real name "Gong Ji-cheol," and Suzy is reported to have donated 100 million won to the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors.
