[Today's Weather] Nationwide Fine Dust 'Good'... Snow and Rain in Gangwon Yeongdong Until Morning

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] On Thursday the 27th, the whole country will experience clear weather, while Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do will be mostly cloudy.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the country will generally be clear due to the influence of a high-pressure system moving eastward from northern China. However, rain or snow is expected until 9 a.m. in the eastern part of Gangwon and the northern east coast of Gyeongbuk.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 1°C △Daejeon 2°C △Daegu 4°C △Busan 5°C △Jeonju 1°C △Gwangju 2°C △Chuncheon -1°C △Gangneung 1°C △Jeju 6°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 1°C.

The daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △Seoul 10°C △Daejeon 11°C △Daegu 10°C △Busan 11°C △Jeonju 12°C △Gwangju 13°C △Chuncheon 10°C △Gangneung 7°C △Jeju 12°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 4°C.

According to the National Institute of Environmental Research, air dispersion will be smooth, and fine dust levels will range from 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Until 9 a.m., dense fog with visibility below 200 meters may occur in the mountainous areas of Gangwon due to low clouds. Additionally, some inland areas may experience fog with visibility under 1 km, so please exercise extra caution for traffic safety."
