Muan-gun Selected as an Excellent Local Government for the 'Integrated National and Local Tax Civil Service Office'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 26th that it was selected as an excellent local government in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's evaluation of the 'Integrated National and Local Tax Civil Service Office' installation and will receive a special grant of 10 million won.

The county quickly established the Integrated National and Local Tax Civil Service Office, expanding national tax services from once a week to five days a week, providing one-stop services for national and local taxes.

Until now, national tax services required the inconvenience of traveling to the Mokpo Tax Office located in Mokpo City, consuming a lot of time and effort, but now services can be processed at the county office's Civil Affairs and Land Administration Department's Integrated Civil Service Office, greatly improving convenience for civil petitioners.

Additionally, in preparation for the transition of local income tax to an independent tax starting this year, a local income tax filing center will be operated at the Integrated Civil Service Office in May, allowing taxpayers to file comprehensive income tax and individual local income tax at once.

A Muan County official stated, "We plan to actively promote by distributing filing guidance documents to general taxpayers and sending combined filing form guidance documents, which include local income tax payment amounts and virtual account numbers, to small business owners."
