Hampyeong Fire Station, All-Out Effort to Prevent Fires in Senior Centers

On the 26th, Hampyeong Fire Station announced that it installed kitchen fire timers in senior centers, which are used as multipurpose spaces.

In addition, Hampyeong Fire Station selected 18 locations that are far away and have many users to provide customized fire safety services.

The focus was on ▲ installing and educating about kitchen timers ▲ checking the expiration of fire extinguishers ▲ verifying the pressure status of fire extinguishers ▲ inspecting standalone smoke detectors ▲ providing medical services to prevent winter diseases.

A representative of Hampyeong Fire Station said, “The installation of kitchen timers in senior centers will greatly contribute to creating a safe environment by preventing accidents caused by the elderly’s careless handling of gas,” and added, “We will continue to manage and prevent safety accidents among vulnerable groups.”
