On the 26th, according to foreign media and Samsung Electronics, a technical error on Samsung Electronics' UK website caused the personal information of approximately 150 customers to be exposed the previous day.
Samsung Electronics identified the error as one where about 150 customers saw other users' information when logging into the website.
The exposed personal information included addresses, email addresses, and past purchase histories, but card numbers were reportedly not displayed.
A Samsung Electronics representative explained, "After promptly fixing the technical error on the website, we contacted the customers whose personal information was exposed to inform them of the situation," adding, "We have also provided related compensation."
