On the morning of the 25th, Park Seong-su, Mayor of Songpa-gu, and Seo Dae-won, President of the Songpa-gu Medical Association, met at the Mayor's office in Songpa-gu to discuss cooperation measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
On this day, Mayor Park said, "There is great concern among local residents about COVID-19," and urged, "Please be more cautious to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the community."
He also stated, "We will spare no support to protect the medical staff who are fighting COVID-19 on the front lines." At the same time, he delivered 10,000 masks, 1,000 hand sanitizers, and 500 hand disinfectants to the Songpa-gu Medical Association.
In response, President Seo said, "Now is the time to do our best to fight COVID-19," and pledged to unite the efforts of over 330 members as much as possible.
The Songpa-gu Medical Association decided to carry out volunteer activities to prevent any shortage of medical personnel amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation. They also expressed their intention to actively share related information and cooperate.
