[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Trot singer Lee Do-jin said, "Stop the suspicion now" regarding the stockpiling allegations.


On the 25th, Lee Do-jin wrote on his social network service (SNS), "These days, I receive many calls with good news, but in the past few days, I have received too many worrying calls," expressing his thoughts.


Lee Do-jin explained, "'Hanbangiya' is a song composed by Yoon Junho, the son of teacher Yoon Hyang-gi and nephew of teacher Yoon Bok-hee. It is a song I want to promote slowly. I believe 'Hanbangiya' will eventually be recognized by many people. So, stop the suspicion now."


On the 20th, a media outlet reported that singer A, who appeared on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot,' was caught in circumstances suggesting that in 2018, he paid tens of millions of won to a music chart manipulation company to request stockpiling.


Following this, suspicions arose mainly on online communities that singer A conducted illegal viral marketing such as comments and view count manipulation even during the 'Mr. Trot' competition.


When it became known that Lee Do-jin released the song 'Hanbangiya' in 2018, some netizens pointed to him as the 'stockpiling singer.'


Meanwhile, Lee Do-jin gained recognition by appearing on 'Mr. Trot.' On the 6th, he was defeated by Kang Tae-kwan in the second round 1:1 death match of the finals and tasted the bitterness of elimination.
