[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Jeon Dae-jin, president of Kumho Tire, has been elected as the new president of the Korea Tire Industry Association.
The Korea Tire Industry Association held its 2020 regular general meeting on the 25th at the InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel in Seoul and elected President Jeon Dae-jin as the 28th chairman.
President Jeon graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Jeonbuk National University and received his master's and doctoral degrees from the same graduate school. He joined Kumho Tire in 1984 and has served as the head of the Gwangju and Gokseong factories, head of the China Production Technology Headquarters, and head of the Production Technology Headquarters. Since last year, he has been serving as the CEO and president of Kumho Tire.
