Actress Cha Chung-hwa expressed her affection for the actors she worked with in 'Crash Landing on You.'
On the 25th, during the tvN weekend drama 'Crash Landing on You' (director Lee Jung-hyo, writer Park Ji-eun) wrap-up interview held at the company building in Jung-gu, Seoul, Cha Chung-hwa said, "After reading the script, I found the character Pyo Chi-soo very charming, and I was really curious about which actor would play him."
She continued, "If I were a man, I would have wanted to play the role of Pyo Ji-soo. But I heard it was Yang Kyung-won," she recalled.
Cha Chung-hwa and Yang Kyung-won first met in Daehangno. Recalling that time, Cha Chung-hwa said, "When I met Yang Kyung-won, I said, 'Congratulations. Now all that's left is for you to gain popularity,' and I was 100% confident in the character."
She then expressed her affection, saying, "Yang Kyung-won is really kind and sincere. Every time I see him, I think he’s doing so well."
Cha Chung-hwa also expressed gratitude to the production team, saying, "I am truly thankful that they created opportunities for lesser-known actors to appear in the drama through auditions. They trust actors who are not popular or verified. I think that’s really amazing."
Meanwhile, Cha Chung-hwa played the role of Yang Ok-geum, a former announcer and current beautician, in 'Crash Landing on You,' and was active as part of the 'Book Avengers' alongside Kim Sun-young (Na Wol-sook), Kim Jung-nan (Ma Young-ae), and Jang So-yeon (Hyun Myung-soon).
