Daegu Bank Closes Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital Branch and Kyungpook National University Hospital Branch for Two Weeks

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DGB Daegu Bank has decided to temporarily close two branches where confirmed cases of COVID-19 occurred. The two branches visited by confirmed patients will also be temporarily closed until the 26th for disinfection work.

On the 25th, Daegu Bank announced that the Daegu Dalseo-gu Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital branch and the Jung-gu Kyungpook National University Hospital branch, where employees tested positive, will be closed until the 9th and 10th of next month, respectively.

This decision was made after one employee working at each of the two branches was confirmed positive on the 24th and the 25th.

Daegu Bank has placed all employees of the two branches under 14-day self-quarantine.

During this period, the Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital branch’s duties will be handled by the nearby Keimyung University branch, and the Kyungpook National University Hospital branch’s duties will be managed by the Samdeok-dong branch.

Additionally, Daegu Bank decided to temporarily close the Daegu Dalseong-gun Dasa branch and Seongseo Homeplus branch, which were identified as visited by confirmed COVID-19 patients, until the 26th and conduct disinfection work for two days. Both branches will resume normal operations from the 27th. Daegu Bank reported that among the employees at these branches, there are no confirmed contact cases or symptomatic individuals.

A Daegu Bank official stated, “We will promptly respond to disinfection of the branches confirmed to have COVID-19 cases, self-quarantine, and closures to ensure that customers do not experience any inconvenience in their banking services.”
