[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Construction announced on the 25th that it will simultaneously sell officetels and commercial facilities within the complex for the 'Hillstate Cheongnyangni Station' development project of Cheongnyangni Miju Shopping Center Building B next month.
Located at 235-6 Cheongnyangni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, this complex will be a building with 7 basement floors and 20 above-ground floors. It consists of 954 residential-type officetels with exclusive areas of 20 to 44㎡, commercial facilities, and public office facilities (dong community center).
The residential-type officetels are composed of studio-type and separated-type units. The studio-type units consist of 820 units sized 20 to 21㎡, while the separated-type units consist of 134 units sized 34 to 44㎡. The commercial facilities will be located from the basement 1st floor to the 4th floor above ground. Within the complex, a multi-purpose building will be constructed that includes the existing dong community center facilities such as the Cheongnyangni-dong Community Center, Autonomous Hall, Dongdaemun Headquarters, as well as cultural and welfare facilities like a joint childcare room, book cafe, and fitness center.
Hillstate Cheongnyangni Station is within walking distance of Cheongnyangni Station, which serves five railway lines: Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Bundang Line, Gangneung Line KTX, and Gyeongchun Line ITX. Additionally, five more railway lines including the Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX) B and C lines, SRT northern extension, Gangbuk Transversal Line, and Myeonmok Line are planned for construction and development.
At the adjacent Cheongnyangni Station Transfer Center, about 60 bus routes are available, and vehicle access is convenient via the Internal Circulation Road and Dongbu Expressway. The surrounding area is rich in living infrastructure, with easy access to Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, Lotte Cinema, Cheongnyangni General Market, Gyeongdong Market, Dongdaemun Tax Office, Dongdaemun Police Station, and Seoul Seongsim Hospital.
The residential officetels at Hillstate Cheongnyangni Station have ceiling heights raised to 2.5m (2.6m with tray ceiling) in all units. Storage cabinets, built-in combo refrigerators, and built-in drum washing machines (with drying function) are also installed. A functional oven is provided as standard, and picture rails are installed in the living room to hang pictures or frames without nailing into the walls.
The studio-type units include storage cabinets, a rotating dining table, and half-closets within the unit. The separated-type units have large dressing rooms (including system powder rooms) in the bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a standard 3-burner highlight electric cooktop, and a 2-burner manual rotating outlet is installed on the kitchen countertop. The 34㎡ units provide a pantry for storing bulky items, and the 41㎡ and 44㎡ units feature a secondary kitchen connected to the entrance, designed for multi-purpose storage and laundry, with an option to install a built-in kimchi refrigerator (paid option).
Hillstate Cheongnyangni Station is currently operating a sales promotion center at 597-27 Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, across from the project site. The model house is scheduled to open in March.
