[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] TeamPlus announced on the 25th that it has officially launched its global service on the ticket brokerage platform TicketBay.
Through the TicketBay global service website, foreign users residing overseas can conveniently trade tickets for K-pop concerts held both domestically and internationally, as well as tickets for various genres of performances and events. The company also explained that through its partnership with DHL international courier service, tickets can be delivered anywhere in the world within 2 to 3 days.
They are also starting full-scale marketing in the Asian region for the global service. Their goal is to establish themselves as a hub for cultural exchange in Asia by sharing the secondary ticket market, led by K-pop, and to grow into a representative ticket platform in Asia.
TicketBay had over 1.8 million cumulative members last year. Han Hyejin, CEO of TeamPlus, said, "We opened the global service to diversify revenue models and contribute to the spread of Hallyu through overseas market expansion," adding, "We plan to continue investing and making efforts to provide services with global competitiveness."
