[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) has published the ‘Geumcheon-gu Tourism Guidebook’ to provide local tourism information to domestic and international tourists visiting Geumcheon.
The guidebook is organized into five themes?‘Historical Culture,’ ‘Fashion-IT Culture,’ ‘Parks,’ ‘Traditional Markets,’ and ‘Experience Spaces’?featuring Geumcheon-gu’s historical and cultural facilities and tourism information, designed so that visitors can explore tourist attractions independently without a guide.
Additionally, it offers comprehensive information on Seoul Future Heritage sites within Geumcheon-gu, representative festivals, cultural facilities, libraries, exemplary restaurants, accommodations, and shopping centers, presented through themed photos and explanatory materials for easy access.
The Geumcheon-gu Tourism Guidebook will be available at the district office, community service centers, Seoul city and tourism information centers, local governments nationwide, tourist hotels, and shopping centers. It can also be downloaded from the Geumcheon-gu website (http://www.geumcheon.go.kr) under the ‘Culture & Tourism’ section.
Yuseonghun, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “Many people are curious about Geumcheon tourism, which is emerging as the center of Seoul’s southwest area. We hope that the newly published Geumcheon-gu Tourism Guidebook will provide an opportunity for domestic and international tourists visiting Geumcheon to access its tourism resources more easily and familiarly.”
