According to Hong Kong Ming Pao, South China Morning Post (SCMP), and others, the Hong Kong government announced that starting from 6 a.m. on the 25th, a red travel alert for South Korea will be in effect, and non-Hong Kong residents coming from South Korea or those who have visited South Korea within the past 14 days will be prohibited from entering.
All individuals coming from South Korea to Hong Kong must undergo health checks upon entry, and if symptoms such as fever are observed, they may be subject to detailed examination or quarantine. In particular, those who have visited Daegu or Gyeongsangbuk-do will be subject to mandatory quarantine for 14 days.
The Hong Kong government recommends that non-Hong Kong residents coming from Japan or Italy stay at home for 14 days while monitoring their temperature and wear masks when going outside.
