Severance Hospital Inpatient Nursing Team 2 Donates Refrigerators to 20 Low-Income Families

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) announced on the 24th that the Severance Hospital Inpatient Nursing Team 2 (Team Leader Kim Mi-kyung) recently donated refrigerators worth a total of 12 million KRW to 20 welfare gap groups and low-income families in the area, warming the community.

The district delivered the donated refrigerators to households that either did not have refrigerators or had broken ones, making it difficult to store food.

Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Severance Hospital has achieved first place for nine consecutive years in the hospital service sector of the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI). This donation to the local community as part of a joy-sharing event commemorating this achievement makes this support even more meaningful.”

In addition, Severance Hospital has been a role model in the community through continuous social contribution activities such as gifting healthy meals and shoes to low-income single-person households and children and adolescents through labor-management public funds and 1% of employee salaries, donating funds to support 100 families in Seodaemun-gu, providing vehicles for food markets, offering free health checkups for vulnerable children, and sponsoring childbirth and feminine products for low-income families.
