[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Model Solution, an advanced prototype and solution company under Korea Technology Group, announced on the 24th that it has opened the design trend exhibition space "CMF Lab," which introduces the latest industrial design trends and showcases product application cases using various materials.

Located at the Model Solution headquarters, the CMF Lab is a space that introduces trends in key design elements such as Color, Materials, and Finish. Additionally, it provides inspiration for product development through proposals enriched with Model Solution's insights and interpretations.

The CMF Lab consists of six sections: Mega Trend, Model Solution Insight, General CMF and Unique CMF, Color District, and Discovery. Model Solution plans to utilize the CMF Lab as a strategic foothold for new business expansion beyond just an exhibition space.

To commemorate the opening of the CMF Lab, Model Solution is collaborating with the UK design studio "Chris Lefteri Design" to produce a "CMF Package Box" that embodies the latest trends in color, materials, and finish. The CMF Package Box will contain the know-how of both companies throughout the design process, from forecasting future design trends to package production. It is intended to serve as a means to provide designers and companies with insights and inspiration on future design trends.

Meanwhile, Korea Technology Group acquired Model Solution in May 2018 to expand its business model. Model Solution is aiming to expand its business scope to cover all processes from product development stages to mass production in the future.
